Anael was appointed Managing Director in February 2020 and provides leadership to the entire Songas team Prior to this time, he performed the role of Chief Financial Officer, where he managed all the financial and reporting aspects for Songas Limited as well as financial planning and risk management.
Anael started his career as a Management Trainee at Unilever, a Multinational Fast-Moving Consumer Goods entity, after four years and half moved to Tanga Cement Limited as a deputy Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary before Joining Intra Energy Tanzania limited, a coal mining company, as a head of finance and administration.
